In May of 2000, Parent to Parent Network received their 501(c)3 status and became incorporated as a non-profit organization. Since then, Parent to Parent has expanded their staff to include an Executive Director, Family Coordinator, Family Care Partners and a Wrap Fidelity Index Evaluator.

• is a family-centered, non-profit, volunteer organization for families who reside the Northern Service Area in Nebraska. We promote the organization of support groups and facilitate them for families who have children with behavioral, emotional or mental health disorders. 
• believes that families are the most knowledgeable and best advocates for their children and their needs. We also feel that families should have access to all the resources that are available to them and that families should be the main decision makers for their children.
  
  We provide training to parents that will assist them to make informed decisions regarding their children and provide current information to parents regarding their rights and relevant services that are available, both locally and nationally. In addition, we provide advocacy for our families who need extra help relating with schools, the juvenile justice system, or who would like extra support at a team meeting. Most importantly, through our support groups, we give parents and families a chance to connect with other families who understand what it is like to have a child with behavioral, emotional or mental health disorders and enable them to speak about issues that are concerning them in a safe environment.
